Find the correct way to deal with common failures of CNC grinders
Click rate: Release time:2008-08-06 Information sources:本站

The grinder can process materials with higher hardness, such as hardened steel, cemented carbide, etc .; it can also process brittle materials, such as glass, granite, etc. The grinder can be used for high-precision and surface roughness grinding, as well as high-efficiency grinding, such as powerful grinding.

With the improvement of modern CNC technology, the working efficiency of CNC grinding machines has been greatly improved compared with before, but occasionally some failures will occur. The CNC grinder can be divided into alarm display failure and non-alarm display failure according to whether there is an alarm display when the fault occurs.

No alarm display failure:
There is a special fault caused by CNC machine tools, that is, there is no alarm display, but the machine tool is in an abnormal state. At this time, the machine tool often stops at a certain position and cannot move, and even manual operation will fail. Maintenance personnel can only analyze and judge based on the phenomenon before and after the fault. Therefore, the diagnosis of such faults is very difficult. The operator of the equipment needs to be familiar with the working principle of the CNC system and CNC machine tool, and carefully observe the fault phenomenon.

Alarm display failure:
Modern CNC systems have rich self-diagnosis functions, many fault CNC systems can be diagnosed, and alarm information is displayed on the CNC system. The CNC system can not only diagnose the faults of the CNC system itself, but also run the fault diagnosis of the machine tool side through the programmable controller. When there is a problem on the machine tool side, it can also display an alarm on the display screen of the CNC system information. For the faults with alarm display, the faults can be analyzed and checked according to the information displayed by the alarm. However, the alarm display information of some faults is not the real cause of the alarm, but only indicates the abnormal state of the machine tool. Further analysis and inspection are required to eliminate the fault.

In addition to the alarm information displayed on the screen of the CNC system, the CNC grinder also has some indicator lights on some modules of the CNC system. When there is a problem in the relevant part, the corresponding indicator alarm light is on. At this time, you can interpret the indicator lights according to the manual. Diagnose machine failure.

When a fault occurs, the parameters of the CNC system should be checked in time: changes in the system parameters will directly affect the performance of the grinder, or even cause the grinder to malfunction, and the entire grinder cannot work. The external interference may cause changes in individual parameters in the memory, so that when some inexplicable faults occur in the grinding machine, the parameters of the CNC system can be checked. The reasons for the failure of the CNC grinding machine may be various, including mechanical, electrical, control system and many other factors, so all relevant factors should be listed in the failure analysis. For example, the X axis of the grinding machine will shake when moving. The factors that may cause this phenomenon are: a. The connection of the X axis encoder may be poor; b. The island rail insert of the X axis is too tight, and the damping is too Large, causing excessive load on the X-axis motor; c, the coupling between the X-axis servo motor and the screw has looseness or gap; d, the servo drive of the X-axis motor is defective; e, the X-axis servo motor is faulty, and so on.
